Pavillon Faubourg Saint-Germain has been awarded the Clef Verte label, the 1st international label for sustainable tourism, for the year 2024.
This makes us one of the establishments in France committed to sustainable tourism and catering.
- Our Environmental Manager has undergone specific training on the challenges of sustainable tourism and our teams are trained in the ecogestures to be respected in their daily tasks
- We have done away with plastic bottles throughout the hotel
- We keep paper printing to a minimum
- Our establishment is completely non-smoking
- We have set up a selective sorting point, available at the hotel reception, and we sort all types of waste
- We work with a majority of products in bulk or in large packaging to limit unnecessary packaging
- We support our customers in the sorting gesture in accordance with local regulations
- We do not offer any disposable crockery and provide customers with recyclable eco-cups for their stay
- We have installed water savers/pressure reducers and showers so as not to deplete the resource
- We read our water and electricity meters every month to better manage our consumption
- We replace every light bulb with an LED or low-energy bulb and have already equipped more than 75% of our lighting
- We offer a number of alternatives to limit car travel, including the loan of bicycles and electric scooters for our guests.
- We cook vegetarian meals, using seasonal and local produce, and adapt to special diets. Our restaurant/snack menus feature organic and/or fair-trade products
- The products used for room cleaning are eco-labeled, and our cleaning and disinfection methods are non-chemical
- Our plants are tended without pesticides
- We have established two active collaborations with the associations Hôtels Solidaires and Unisoap for the recycling and collection of our hospitality products.
